Visual Style_
The short film is based on a beautiful comic story by Etgar Keret and illustrations by Asaf Hanuka, which I used to love as a kid. I wanted to create a film adaptation that will stay true to the original.
We drew a lot of inspiration from the original frames, almost treating them as a storyboard.
The excellent film "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" by Etgar Wright also served as a huge influence on our editing and motion graphics approach.
